United Crates

United Crates prides its self on being an industry leader in our field, with the introduction of plastic crates and bins back in 1975 to Perth Western Australia.

With the success of the plastic crates and bins amongst our growers community and the implementation of HACCP systems within the industry, United Crates saw a need to ensure our products were cleaned to the highest of standards.

In 2005 we commissioned the first hot wash crate washing machine in WA. Our Semi Staal crate wash machine cleaned our crates at an impressive 65º complying with our HACCP program.

In 2009 United Crates invested in another 2 hot wash machines, another crate wash and a bin wash machine. The machines were purchased to keep up with our growing demand of our crates and bins, especially since the acquisition of Standard Crate exchange in 2007.

In 2016 with increasing demand on both short term and long terms bins United Crates has invested heavily in a “state of the art” fully automated Hot Wash bin and pallet cleaning process.

This not only dramatically improves our cleaning efficiency, it also continues to ensure United Crates are fully compliant with the high food safety standards required for the bins to be used in the food, wine, meat and other industries.

By investing in the latest technology United Crates can also offer the quickest turnaround times for customer who are seeking a washing service for their bins. We can clean multiple styles of bins (in line with what we hire and sell) along with the Aus. standard size plastic pallets of 1165mm x 1165mm x 150mm.
